Woodridge Junior Woman's Club
Involved in Our Community
WJWC members are actively involved in their community. Whether it is collecting school supplies for children, supporting needy families with holiday baskets and gifts, or providing high school students with college scholarships, the Junior's know how to make a difference.
- School Supply Collection - We work with School District 68, along with local businesses and municipal buildings in collecting school supplies for the children who attend Woodridge schools.
- Humanitarian Services Project - Through HSP, WJWC provides support for the Children's Birthday Project
- Spring Flower Sale - With proceeds from the annual flower sale, the club offers college scholarships each year
- Adopt Needy Families at the Holidays - Each holiday season, members contribute to a Thanksgiving food basket and purchase Christmas present for local families
- And Much, Much More! - Other local charities WJWC supports include; Woodridge Food Pantry, Head Start, the Clarence Foundation, the Treasure Chest Foundation, Love Letters, and Sharing Connections
